OUR POLICIES

Our policies provide a clear framework for admission, school fees, responsible use of school facilities, student and parent conduct, and the protection and safeguarding of every child within our school community.

01 — ADMISSION POLICY

The Premier Cornerstone Academy welcomes applications for Creche, Pre-School, Basic, Junior Secondary School (JSS 1–3), and Senior Secondary School (SSS 1–3), including eligible transfer students.

Admission is based on merit, available space, age/readiness, academic qualifications, and applicable assessment results. The school does not discriminate on the basis of gender, religion, or background.

Key admission requirements may include:

  • Completed admission form
  • Birth certificate or age declaration
  • NIN Slip where applicable
  • Previous academic records for transfer students
  • Immunization/health records
  • Passport photographs
  • Transfer and conduct certificates where applicable
  • Entrance assessment and/or interview

Entrance Assessment

  • JSS 1: English Language and Mathematics
  • SSS 1: English Language and Mathematics
  • A minimum overall score of 50% is required for admission consideration.
  • Scores of 40%–49% may be considered for probation or interview review, subject to available spaces.
  • Scores below 40% do not qualify for admission.

Admission Process:
Application → Entrance Examination/Assessment → Interview → Admission Letter → Acceptance & Documentation.

Late admission may be considered where spaces remain. Students with special learning needs will be supported as resources allow.

02 — SCHOOL FEES POLICY

Our school fees policy promotes transparency, accountability, and consistency in the payment and management of school fees.

School fees may include tuition, registration, development levy, examination fees, uniforms, books, and other approved charges.

Payment Requirements

  • 70% of applicable fees should be paid before the first day of each term unless otherwise approved in writing.
  • Payments must be made through the school’s designated bank account or approved digital payment channels.
  • Instalment arrangements require prior written approval from the Bursar or Accountant.
  • Parents/guardians must provide proof of payment to the Accounts Department for official acknowledgment and receipt.

Late Payment & Non-Payment

A late-payment penalty of 5%–10% of the outstanding balance may apply where stipulated by the school.

Persistent non-payment may result in restrictions on access to classes, assessments or examination results, and continued default may lead to withdrawal of enrolment.

Refunds & Withdrawal

School fees are generally non-refundable once a student has resumed for the term, except in exceptional circumstances approved by Management.

Parents who have paid but do not intend to resume should notify the school at least two weeks before resumption for consideration of any applicable refund.

Registration fees, uniforms, books, and applicable charges are non-refundable.

The school may also provide merit-based scholarships or discounts at Management’s discretion.
